My Literary History.

Hi everyone, my name is J. C. Jenkins Jr. I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 22, 1980. I grew up with a love for reading at a young age.

I struggled in school due to Mental Illness I preferred to be left alone. Let’s face it I am not the only one.

I noticed that a young age that I had a vibrant fantasy life. I used to live stories in my mind. Since I didn’t know how to write them down, they stayed in my mind.

It wouldn’t be until 2001 that I started writing down my stories.

But I am getting ahead of myself.

The thing is, I never learned how to write. It’s true, the last Grade I completed was the third grade. Special Ed wasn’t a good mode of learning in the 80s and 90s.

I had to put up with bullies but I rarely ever fought back. Like I said I just wanted to be left alone to think. The only time I did fight back was when I was 8 and t best up my bully was when he hurt my friend. She was only 6.

I got so angry I blacked out I was so mad that he harmed her.

I only know about this because several years later he was in my class again and confessed to my class that I had best him up for hurting a little girl.

He seems to have turned out alright although I haven’t seen or talked to him since 93.

No he didn’t do anything wrong, I just never had the chance to ever talk to him again. I would if he wanted to.

Back to how I became a writer. Well I started reading novels when I was 12. I would read obsessively for the next several years. It wasn’t until I started reading Dragon Lance Novels that I really started to want to write.

This was when I was 19. By January 2001 I started building my World of Six Moons. If it wasn’t for Dragon Lance I may never have even started writing.

It would be another 16 years before I publish my first novel titled Night Stalkers under the Name J. C. Jenkins. A year later I would publish my Second book titled Collective Works Vol. 1 under the name of J. C. Jenkins Jr.

Right now I am working on 30+ different stories at one time.

More on this on my next post.

You can find my books on Amazon or Googling J. C. Jenkins Jr. Or using the titles of my books using my pin names mention in this blog.
